Time to Fly - Time! on whose arbitrary wing
The varying hours must flag or fly.
And so begins "To Time" by Lord Byron, the inspiration for my watch cuff. Created to merge the fleeting passage of time with nature's ephemeral and playful 'sky flower', this design is symbolic as a remembrance to pursue what makes you happiest. We live in a world where days are, all too often, filled with a myriad of tasks. Slow down. Make time to savor precious moments. Just as this capricious beauty delights in a garden of dazzling blooms, your soul soars as your spirit takes flight.

A Necklace for Frida - Frida Kalho was a Mexican Surrealist painter, whose tragic personal narratives are vibrantly infused with traditional Mexican motifs and allegorical symbolism. One of her most famous paintings is called the Self-portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird. I was inspired by her life, her work, and this painting. The challenge was to translate all of this into a piece that would do the artist justice, but stand alone on its own merits. I created this organic and asymmetrical multi-stranded necklace, blending striking coppers, shimmering golds, and pretty pinks that are punctuated by earthy browns.

Dripping in Fringe - I've always had a love affair with fringe. My most treasured couture playing dress up was a red hot fringe dress. The luxurious feeling of fluid motion with each high heeled step still doesn't grow old! As a designer, I intended to re-capture that feeling reflected in a more elegant and sophisticated style. Creating custom Crystallized fringe was like a kid in a candy store, so in many ways this project indulged some of my childhood dreams and fantasies while drawing on my seasoned sense of design and style.

Black Tie - I raise money for cancer research. 15% of profits are donated to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. My husband is a cancer survivor and this is my way of giving back.
I design and make beautiful, unique, one of a kind pieces of jewelry using Venetian glass, Crystallized™ - Swarovski Elements, Cultured pearls, Lampwork and Dichoric beads using Moretti and Lauscha glass, Bali and Thai sterling silver, and designer inlaid shell toggle clasps. Pieces are adorned with a sterling awareness ribbon and my signature butterfly, symbolizing fight and new life.
These pieces are called "Black Tie". Absolutely breathtaking. The bracelet is a double strand using Crystallized briolettes in Crystal AB and Jet separated by very large Jet AB round beads and enhanced with a Crystal ball magnetic clasp. The necklace is the exact match to the bracelet with a Crystal screw ball clasp. One of a kind.
